8 days and 7 nights
3 nights in San Juan
2 nights in Lajas or Cabo Rojo
2 nights in Aguadilla, Isabela, or San Sebastian
Day
I: Arrival
Welcome at the airport, baggage handling, transfer
to the hotel and orientation about upcoming activities.
Free night.
Day
II: Bacardi Distillery and Old San Juan
From 7:00 to 8:00 am, breakfast (included). 8:30 am,
we leave to the Bacardi distillery, and tour its facilities,
later, we go to Old San Juan. Walking tour (Approx.
2 hours). Free time for lunch (optional) and shopping,
return to the hotel at 4:30 pm.
Includes
entrance fee to the fort.
Difficulty:
Moderate to hard. Crossing streets, walking, climbing
stairs.
We
recommend: Comfortable shoes, a hat or umbrella,
and a camera.
Note:
If you have an instant camera (Polaroid), keep it
with you constantly, and you could win $100.00!!
Day III: Yunque and Luquillo (All day)
From 7:00 to 8:00 am, breakfast at the hotel (included).
8:30 am, we leave for the Caribbean National Forest,
during this visit we will make at least 4 stops and
one hike (moderate to difficult) according to the
group's necesities. After the hike through the rain
forest, we will return to lunch. After lunch, you
will have approx. 2 hours to visit Luquillo beach.
We return to the hotel at approximately 4:30 pm.
Includes
oasis, lunch y entrance fees for the forest and bathrooms
at the beach.
Difficulty:
Moderate to difficult. 30 to 90 minute hikes, swimming,
98 step stairs (Yokahu).
We
recommend: Bring your camera, a hat or raincoat,
and comfortable shoes for walking through wet trails.
Note:
Pack and go to bed early, we're going to Ponce.
Day
IV: Ponce, Lajas, or Cabo Rojo
From 7:00 to 7:30 am, breakfast at the hotel (included).
8:00 am, we leave for the south of P.R. During this
trip, you'll notice the change in our vegetation and
topography. At 10:00 am, we arrive at Plaza de las
Delicias in Ponce, and board the trolley for a panoramic
tour of the beautiful city of Ponce, duration approx.
2 hours. When the trolley returns to Plaza de las
Delicias, we will have a tour of its surroundings
(Museum of History and Ponce Museum of Art are included
if you like). There will be time for shopping, then
we will board the bus and go to lunch (various alternatives,
depending on your budget). 3:30 pm, we leave towards
west P.R. From 4:30 to 5:00 pm, arrival and registration
at the parador.
Includes
oasis (lunch and dinner), entrance fees for the museums.
Difficulty:
Moderate, walking.
We
recommend: Sunblock, comfortable shoes, hat, and
camera.
Day
V: Yauco, Lajas
From 7:00 to 8:00 am, breakfast (included). 8:30 am,
we go horseback riding in Yauco; after the activity
is finished, you'll taste the delicious can-can pork chops
for lunch. At 1:30 we head out to the Dry Forest,
for a 2 hour visit, or Caña Gorda beach. Return
to the parador. At night, you may opt to have a tour to
the Phosphorescent Bay, before or after dinner. (Pack
your bags, because we leave early)
Includes
oasis (lunch, dinner), horseback riding fees.
Difficulty:
Moderate.
We
recommend: Appropriate clothing for those who
will ride horses, camera, sunblock.
Day
VI: San Sebastian, Aguadilla or Isabela
From
7:00 to 8:00 am, breakfast (included). At 8:30 am,
we leave for Aguadilla, visiting its church and museum.
Lunch at 1:00 pm approx. At 3:30 pm we will visit
Paseo Colón, and enjoy a refreshing dip in
this beautiful white sand beach. At 6:00 pm, registration
at the parador and at night, dinner.
Includes
oasis (lunch and dinner), entrance fees.
Difficulty:
Moderate, swimming, walking.
We
recommend :
Comfortable shoes, appropriate clothing, sunblock,
hat or umbrella, camera.
Day
VII: Camuy
From
7:00 to 8:00 am, breakfast at the parador (included). At 8:30
am, we leave for the Camuy Caverns (all day). At 10:00
am approx., arrival at the Caverns. 2:00 pm, buffet
lunch in Camuy, depending on how long it takes us
at the Caverns, we may also go to the Arecibo
Observatory. Return to the parador, pool, and traditional
or gala dinner.
Includes
oasis (lunch and dinner), entrance fees to the parks
and observatory.
Difficulty:
Moderate to difficult, hiking, long stairs.
We
recommend:
Comfortable shoes and clothing, sunblock, camera.
Day
VIII: Departure
Departure
time to San Juan depends on departure time for your
flight (we recommend that it be after 3:00 pm), so
that we may visit Noah's Ark; a fabulous aviary and
mini zoo.
Difficulty:
Moderate
We

Alcoholic drinks are NOT included in any lunches and
dinners.

Day
I: Arrival
Greeting
at the airport, baggage handling, and transportation to the hotel. Free
night.
Day
II: Bacardi and Viejo San Juan (all day)
7:00 to 8:00 am, breakfast
in the hotel (included). 8:30 am, we leave for the
Bacardi Distillery for a 2 hour visit. 11:00 am, we
leave for San Juan for a 2 hour walking tour. Free
time for lunch (optional) and shopping. 4:00 pm, return
to the hotel, free night.
Note:
If you have an instant camera (Polaroid), bring it
with you and you could win $100.00!
Day
III: El Yunque (all day)
7:00 to 8:00 am, breakfast (included). 8:30 am,
we leave for the El Yunque Rain Forest. We will take
Route 187, through the Piñones forest. Throughout
the trip, our tourist guide will offer information
about Puerto Rico. In El Yunque we will make 3 stops
and one hike. 12:30 pm, lunch (included). 2:00 pm,
we will go the Luquillo beach for a refreshing swim.
4:30 pm, return to the hotel. Free night.
Day
IV: Toresillas Lagoon and the Botanical Gardens
7:00 to 8:00 am, breakfast at the hotel (included).
8:30 am, we leave from the hotel to the Botanical
Gardens. We will visit there for approx. 2 1/2 hours,
walking though the trails and gardens inside. 11:30
am, we leave to Piñones forest for lunch. We
will have a BBQ style lunch. After lunch, we will
take a trip through the Lagoon by boat. The flora
and fauna here is very different from what you
have seen until now. 4:30 pm, return to the hotel.
Free night, gala dinner included.
Day
V: Free day
The morning is free (breakfast included). You have
the option to visit the local shopping centers. Later,
transfer to the airport.
Remember
that you can make arrangements to change any of the
visits that you don't like.

Day
I: Arrival
Baggage handling and transportation to the hotel.

Day
II: Yunque-Luquillo Tour (all day)
7:00-8:00am. breakfast at the hotel (included).
8:30am. We leave for "El Yunque". Tour of
the Rain Forest (4 paradas). One hike.
1:30pm. Lunch (included).
2:30pm. Luquillo Beach. Refresh yourself in the waters
of one of the most famous beaches in P.R. (Try "Deliris"'
Piña Colada, it's the best in the country).
4:30pm. Return to the hotel.
Free night.
Pack
up, because we're leaving early.
Day III: Ponce
7:00-8:30am. Breakfast and "check-out".
8:30am. We leave for Ponce.
10:30am. Arrival at the city of Ponce, the second
most important city in P.R. Trolley tour through the
city. Upon returning to plaza las Delicias we will
visit the Cathedral and the Firemen's Museum.
1:30pm.
Lunch (included).
3:00pm. Visit to the La Guancha Boardwalk.
4:00pm. We leave for the parador. Arrival and "check-in".
Free night: we suggest a tour of 'La Parguera'
Dinner (included).
Day
IV: Dry Forest and Beach
7:00-8:00am. Breakfast (included).
8:30am. We leave for the Dry Forest in Guánica.
The most studied biosphere reserve in the world.
12:30pm. Lunch (included).
1:30pm. We leave for Caña Gorda Beach. Enjoy
a bath in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea.
4:30pm. Return to the parador.
Dinner (incluided).
Pack up, because we're leaving early.
Day
V: Aguada
7:00-8:00am Breakfast (included).
8:30am. We leave for Aguada. We will visit the museum,
the church, and 'Ermita Espinar'.
2:00pm. Lunch (incluided) in the parador.
Free afternoon so you can enjoy the pool.
Free night(dinner included).
Pack up, because we're leaving early.
Day
VI: Camuy Caves and Observatory
7:00-8:00am. Breakfast (included).
8:30am. We leave for the Camuy Caves, catalogued
by experts as the third most importan underground
cave system in the world. The tour through the caverns
takes approximately two hours, but our visit will
last for four hours.
1:30 or 2:00pm. Lunch. After lunch, if we have time,
we will visit the Arecibo Observatory, the largest
in the world.
4:30pm. We leave for San Juan. Upon arrival, we check
into the hotel.
Gala dinner (included).
Day
VII: San Juan
7:00-8:00am. Breakfast at the hotel (included).
8:30am. Visit to Old San Juan. The walk though the
ancient city takes approximately 3 hours.
11:30am. Time for lunch (optional) and shopping.
2:30pm. Return to the hotel and "check-out".

recommendations:

* Pack casual and sporty clothing only. (Our average
temperature is 84°F or 28°C.)
