Ponce, the second most important city in P.R. Don't miss the opportunity to visit this city. Old coffee plantations, taino ceremonial park, art museums, Vigia Tower, and "trolley" sightseeing around the city are just some of the many things you'll find. Don't leave without visiting the fabulous 'Plaza las Delicias', with the cathedral church and the old firehouse.

Nature
|
The Caribbean National Rain Forest, "El Yunke". Like hiking? If so, this is the place to go. 28,000 acres of wild vegetation, ferns, orchids and other trees that you cannot see anywhere else. Regular tour includes four stops.

Camuy Cave System. Named by the experts as the third most important underground system in the world, the Camuy Cave System has a wonderful tour to offer to the visitors. Mother Nature has been working for more than 50 million years to create this fabulous system.

La Parguera - the most important phosphorescent bay in P.R. You can depart to the bay directly from your parador's small pier, or to the mangrove forest. You can also visit one of the keys, or snorkel in the coral reefs.

Only in P.R. can you visit a tropical rain forest, and a small desert area all in the same stay. Located in Guanica, the dry forest is one of the most studied forests in the world. Hundreds of migrant birds come here every year.

In the heart of our capital city we have an oasis of peace and quiet, the Botanical Garden. Walk along the trails and learn about our flora and fauna. A must-see for families and students.

Fajardo is the capital of water sports in P.R. You can also find here "Las Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve", with 7 different kinds of ecosystems, a phosphorescent bay, and one of the oldest lighthouses in the country. (Reservations needed)
